I have had my ancient Asus 600 Series for almost ten years thus we cannot even talk about cosmetic wear, it is literally falling apart. The bottom plastic frame of the screen has come off, the ports could shelter various insect and the sound when attempting to start it up reminds me of a four-stroke cycle gasoline engine from 1885.
Considering I have been hogging my boyfriend' s laptop probably since we started dating, and no, that was not the reason why we did, it has been decided that I finally get my own upgrade. And yes, it seems that most of all for the sake of our relationship.
What I long for is a device combining a touch screen and a keyboard, touch screen for occasional drawing and a keyboard for storing bacteria. Good memory is always an asset and being a female user, I must admit to the generally expected, I do care about the look as well, to be perfectly honest, a lot.
In other words, Ipad would definitely warm my heart, add colour to my life and extra sparkle to my eyes but it fails to provide the essential, the keys I need the feel of.
Lenovo Ideapad provides both and it is very reasonably priced taking into account all the features I have listed, a touch screen, a keyboard, good memory and good looks.
The ultimate cherry on top is the fact that you can actually transform it into a tablet and use it accordingly.
Time for adoption.
